WSMI‘s New Generator

WSMI-FM‘s new 60 KW generator. We take our responsibility to
Serve Mid-Illinois seriously. We plan to be on the air when you need us.
Early in December during the first ice storm of the season our existing
generator would not start. Although we did get it started later that night, we decided it was time to replace and upgrade our generator. Our new generator will power our studios,
the WSMI transmitter and the backup WSMI-FM transmitter if needed.
