IDOA Approves Cannabis Cultivation Centers

Knisley Sworn in as Litchfield Police Officer

A new police officer was sworn in during the Litchfield City Council's final regular meeting of 2019. Tylor Knisley took his oath of office on Thursday, Dec. 19, in front of a crowded council chamber. Glen Carbon Man Collapses, Dies After Shoveling Snow

A Glen Carbon man collapsed and died on Tuesday, Dec. 17 after shoveling snow, causing the Madison County Coroner's office to issue a reminder about the dangers of snow shoveling and removal. Litchfield Fire Dept. Extinguishes House Fire on Sallee St.

Litchfield Firefighters were dispatched to a residential fire at 9:33 a.m. on East Sallee Street on Monday, Dec. 2.
