A benefit fundraiser will be held on Saturday, August 6th for a Staunton man who was seriously injured in Afghanistan. Stewart Heim, a member of the Marines, was injured earlier this summer when his patrol came upon an I.E.D., an improvised explosive device. According to Illinois State Police, a motorcycle driven by 28 year old Nathan Pinnel of Morrisonville traveled off Route 127, and struck a ditch.
