A Gillespie woman was injured Thursday evening in a car-tractor accident near Lake Williamson. According to the Macoupin County Sheriff‘s Office, 66 year old Mary Demoss was southbound on Rt. 4 when she reportedly failed to see a southbound 4640 John Deere tractor and ran her 2009 Chevy Cobalt into the rear of the tractor at 5:20pm.
