Three People Arrested For Cannabis Production

(Hillsboro)--Three people face various drug related charges following their arrest Wednesday morning in Hillsboro. Members of the Montgomery County Sheriff‘s Office, the South Central Illinois Drug Task Force, and Hillsboro Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence in the nine hundred block of East Tremont. 22 year old Michael Cypiran, 28 year old Charles Baney, and 41 year old Michael McIntyre were taken into custody. All were charged with production of cannabis.

During the investigation, weapons along with miscellaneous equipment used in cannabis production, and over fifty cannabis plants were seized. An investigation is ongoing by the South Central Illinois Drug Task Force.
