State Police Investigating The Death Of A Ramsey Man

(Ramsey)--Illinois State Police says they have a person of interest in custody in the shooting death of a Ramsey man. Investigators say the body of 50 year old John Russell was found Monday by Sheriff‘s Deputies in front of his home. State Police say the person of interest in currently jailed in Shelby County on charges unrelated to Russell‘s death.

The individual has not yet been identified. State Police say the investigation is ongoing.
