Carlinville Business Robbed

Carlinville police are investigating a reported robbery of the Family Video Store on North Broad Street.

According to Carlinville Police Chief David Haley, at 10:26pm on Wednesday, an employee of the Family Video store called police to report the robbery.

The assailant was described as a male subject about 5‘6" to 5‘9" tall wearing dark blue jeans, a black hoddie and a black ski mask.

The suspect reportedly demanded money and left with an undeteremined amount of cash.
