Bunker Hill Woman Injured in Accident

A Bunker Hill woman was injured in a single vehicle accident Saturday (7-27) night in Huyear Township in Macoupin County. The Macoupin County Sheriff's Office reports that 21-year old Shawnee Bushrow was driving her car north on Route 159 near Prairie Dell Road near Bunker Hill, when she lost control of the vehicle which crashed into a ditch and rolled three times. Bushrow was ejected from the car and was taken by helicopter to St. Louis University Hospital. A male passenger in the car was not hurt.
