A new Miss Virden will be selected Friday night during the Virden American Legion 4th of July Celebration.
This years contestants in the Queen Pageant are Brooke Loy, Brianna Loy, Emily Bergman, Macanzie Vivin, Kaley Perrine, Macala Butler, Miranda Bearden, and Elizabeth Langstrom. The retiring Queen is Olivia Langheim.
The Queen Pageant begins at 7:00pm on the Virden Square.
