No Major Injuries in Semi Truck Accident

A semi truck driver avoided serious injury when his truck rolled and crashed on the interstate this weekend.

According to the state police, A 63-year old South Holland man was driving north on I-55 on Saturday, July 30th around 6pm when he heard a loud popping sound. The driver said that he lost control and ended up crashing the truck into the median, where the truck rolled and landed on its right side. The accident happened at mile marker 82 near Auburn.

The driver was taken to an area hospital for minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
