Man with Loaded Firearm Arrested

A Standard City man was arrested in Hillsboro Tuesday evening after a loaded firearm was discovered in his vehicle.

According to the Hillsboro Police Department, James Davidson, 61, was stopped at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday at Springfield Road and Oak Street for a traffic violation. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and recovered a loaded firearm. Davidson was arrested for Felony Possession of a Firearm, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition.

He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
