Joe Page Bridge Lane Restrictions
Thu, 30 Mar 2017 09:30:07 CDT
The Illinois Department of Transportation is advising motorists that the Joe Page Bridge carrying IL Rt. 16/100 over the Illinois River will be restricted to one lane beginning on Monday, April 3. Temporary traffic signals will be installed to maintain two-way traffic through this area. This work is required to perform maintenance and paint the existing bridge and is expected to be completed by the end of September 2017.
Long delays are expected. This will be especially true when the bridge is raised for river traffic. The Department recommends using alternate routes as much as possible during this time frame.
