Human Remains Found Near Lake Lou Yaeger

The remains of a person were discovered by Litchfield Police Wednesday near Lake Lou Yaeger.

According to the State Police, the race, sex and age of the skeletal remains are unknown at this time. State Police Zone Six Investigations are handling the matter. Sgt. Elbert Jennings, who is leading the investigation, said that the remains will have to be examined for an identity is confirmed. Despite sepculation, other local law enforcement agencies did not comment on the victim's identity.
