Double Homicide in Rockbridge

Two brothers from Rockbridge were victims in a double homicide Sunday night in Rockbridge.

According to Illinois State Police Zone 6 Investigations, 55 year old Ronald Plummer and 54 year old Billy Plummer both of Rockbridge were pronounced dead by the Greene County Coroners office after the incident at 585 State Road. The deaths resulting from reported stabbings.

A suspect was identified and taken into custody without incident. The name of the suspect has not been released.

An investigation continues concerning the incident.
