Sheriff Robbins Offers Scholarship

Montgomery County students can get a boost toward college expenses thanks to sheriff Rick Robbins and the Illinois Sheriffs' Association. Robbins and the association are offering a 500 dollar scholarship as part of a 50-thousand statewide program. The scholarships are to be applied to tuition, books and fees only. The student must be enrolled full-time to a certified institution of higher learning within the State of Illinois. applicants must be permanent Illinois residents scholarships must be utilized at institutions of higher learning within the State of Illinois and students must be enrolled as full-time students during the 2021-2022 school year Applications are now available at the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office or on the Internet @ www.ilsheriff.org. Students must complete the application, answer the essay question and return all documentation to the sheriff's office in their permanent county of residence by March 15, 2021.
