This week, we told you that Hillsboro Schools Superintendent David Powell received a four-year contract extension that he says will take him to the end of his career. He won't be alone in collecting his last paycheck from the district at mid-decade. Hillsboro High School Principal Patti Heyen and Assistant Principal Andrew Stritzel have announced their intentions to retire when Powell's final contract is complete.
