Your kids may beg to differ, but the most important Easter Egg hunt of the year just happened a week and a half after Easter. That’s because the deadlocked Witt Mayor’s Race between Shawn Cady and Timothy Taylor came down to the name of the winner being drawn from an Easter Egg. That means Cady will serve as Mayor with sister Lyn Cady and his wife Catherine in the two Ward One City Council seats. Prior to today’s drawing, Shawn Cady said contrary to some rumors, the other Cadys were all in, regardless of how the lottery would turn out.
