Urgent-Search Is On for Missing Gillespie Man

Gillespie Police are looking for a missing 20-year-old man with autism. Desi Parnel went on a walk this (Thursday) morning around 9:30 a.m. on Highway 138 in the direction of Mt Olive according to KMOV TV. Family members say he did not return and they fear he is lost and will speak with anyone. He had no money with him or a cell phone when he went missing. He has curly blonde hair and is around 5'10" - 6'0" tall and weighs 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, white Nike shoes, unknown shirt color and no coat. Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Gillespie police at (217) 839-2933.
