Panhandle Schools Seeking Board Member

When filing was complete for the Panhandle School Board races, the district came up one candidate short. Now there's a chance to be on the board without being on the ballot. The Panhandle School District is accepting applications to fill the vacancy on the school board. The individual selected will serve on the School Board from June 20, 2021 until the Spring election 2023 election, The board has requested that anyone interested in filling the vacant seat should send a letter of Inquiry to the Superintendent at 509 N Prairie, Raymond, IL 62560. Requests must be received by 3:00 pm Monday, May 17, 2021. To be appointed to fill this school board vacancy a person must be 18 years of age; a resident of the state and district for one year and not a resident of Raymond Township; a registered voter, not a school treasurer, and shall not be a registered child sex offender
