Highland Masons Rocking Through Weekend For Two Great Causes

They’re having a rocking good time for two great causes in Highland. Since Friday, at 6pm the Masons have been rocking their rocking chairs non stop on the east porch of the Masonic Building through whatever weather Mother Nature may bring. It’s all to support two great
causes: the new Metro East Humane Society in Highland, and the 1893 classic… the Historic
Highland Masonic Lodge building. The rocking will continue until Sunday at 6pm. They are also asking for can food donations for the Highland Food Pantry. Plus, the MEHS is accepting animal and litter donations. They are accepting pledges for each hour rocked as well as lump sum donations. In 2019 they raised nearly $5,000.00 rocking for 48 hours. I hope you will help us exceed that amount this year. Due to COVID last year, they had to postpone the event.
