Southbound 55 Closed at 108 after 5 vehicle wreck with two semis

Brief Synopsis: Preliminary investigative details indicate the following occurred: District 18 Troopers are on scene of a five vehicle crash involving two truck tractor semi-trailers blocking Interstate 55 southbound at Milepost 60. Traffic is being diverted onto Illinois Route 108. Five individuals are being transported by ambulance to area hospitals, one with serious injuries and four with non-life-threatening injuries.
