Fatal UTV/SUV Crash in Irving Area

A Butler man is dead after a crash involving a UTV and SUV on Irving Road at North 20th. State Police say Sunday, just after 1:30 p.m., 44-year-old Chad Stewart of Butler was traveling on North 20th approaching Irving Road in his Polaris UTV. He failed to stop at the stop sign and was struck by an SUV driven by 67-year-old Delmar Pray of Nokomis. Stewart’s UTV overturned after the impact and ejected him from the vehicle. He died after arriving at the hospital. Pray, 64-year-old Marsha Pray and a 13-year-old passenger all suffered minor injuries. This crash is still under investigation and no further information is available. There’s also word of a death in a crash on Walshville Road
