National Pollinator Week June 21-27

This is National Pollinator week and the Carlinville Public Library and the Carlinville Bee City organization are presenting several activities to draw attention to the importance of pollinators. One activity is a Carlinville-themed Pollinator Bingo game, which residents can complete around the town during the week. Players are invited to send tagged photos on social media with the hashtag #CvillePollinator Week. Free bingo card sheets are available at the library.

The library is introducing its new Little Free Seed Library, which will make its debut on Saturday, June 26. Patrons may take free packets of seed from the library, or donated their own seeds to the library as part of the effort. In addition, the library will offer free pollinator plant seedlings for patrons to take while supplies last.
