Two People Killed In A Roll Over Accident

(Litchfield)--Two people were killed in a single vehicle accident that happened on Old Litchfield Trail. According to Illinois State Police, a vehicle driven by 35 year old Kenneth Ramsey of Hillsboro was eastbound on the trail, near Mallard Lane, when he left the road driving through a fence.  Read more...


Roadside Safety Checkpoint Figures Released

(Litchfield)--Illinois State Police District 18 recently announced the results of a road side saftety checkpoint that was held on Saturday, May 24th at the intersection of Route 127 and Route 16. New Beaver Dam State Park Playground

(Hillsboro)-- A public hearing regarding the City of Hillsboro applying for a C.D.A.P. grant took place before the Hillsboro City Council meeting Tuesday night. Calhoun Teacher Charged

A Calhoun County High School teacher faces state and federal charges in connection with a bomb threat on Monday. According to Illinois State Police, Calhoun County States Attorney Rick Ringhausen on Thursday charged 36 year old Michelle Smith of Jerseyville with Falsely Making a Terrorist Threat.
