Taylor Springs Man Killed in Memorial Day Crash

A 72-year-old Taylor Springs man was killed on Monday, May 27, when the motorcycle he was driving struck a semi south of Greenville. Jimmie White died as a result of injuries he suffered during the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Bond County Coroner. Read more...

A pair of Royal Lakes residents have been arrested on arson charges after a Hillsboro residence caught fire on Saturday, May 4. A Farmersville teenager died Thursday evening after he was involved in an automobile accident in Taylorville.
